Our Story --
How La Gioconda came to be
La Gioconda started in with . We noticed that renting in Philadelphia too often meant a broker fee, a landlord you never met, and a building nobody seemed to be responsible for. We thought there should be a better way: a well-kept apartment you could lease directly from the people who own it, at a fair rent, from a landlord who actually lives here and picks up the phone. So we started buying and renovating buildings, one at a time, and running each one the way we'd want our own home run. Today La Gioconda owns 27 properties across Philadelphia, with 147 apartments that residents call home.
